Made in Germany, these solid bodied soprano ukuleles are incredible value for money. Bruko are a family run business who have managed to streamline their ukulele design to provide a simple but exceptionally well made instrument.
They may not project the full bodied tone that some of the Chinese manufactured Sopranos boast, but they have a definite charm about them, with an elegant and characterful sound that is quite unique.
This is the slim bodied version of the more traditional soprano ukulele. Often referred to as travel ukes, they're extremely compact and make the perfect holiday companion.
Understandably, people often assume that they won't be as resonant as the traditional shape. Not so... they're actually just as loud, and because of the shallow body they offer slightly more attack, so they're great if you're looking for something to cut right through the rest of your ensemble.
