They feature top quality grade aged tonewoods that are extremely thin giving an unusually resonant and full sound compared to many other ukuleles.
Based on the blueprints for the original Pennsylvania Martin ukuleles, the body is an all solid mahogany construction with beautiful rope binding and a satin finish. They have a slim, comfortable neck profile with a non-adjustable steel truss rod (a Mele exclusive!) and a 19 fret ebony fingerboard and bridge. Equipped with precision die-cast 18:1 tuning machine heads.
This is an amazing value all solid mahogany tenor with a rich and full tone all the way up the neck.
