Based on the blueprints for the original Pennsylvania Martin ukuleles, this Baritone has a solid aged spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, with a satin finish. It has a slim, comfortable neck profile with a non-adjustable steel truss rod (a Mele exclusive!) and a 19 fret ebony fingerboard and bridge. Equipped with precision die-cast 18:1 tuning machine heads.
