Kala KA-EBY-S Ebony Soprano Ukulele

Kala KA-EBY-S Ebony Soprano Ukulele. One of Kala's best step up ukuleles, Ebony is being increasingly used for fingerboards and bridges as well as ukulele tonewood. The KA-EBY-C Ebony Soprano offers a luxurious alternative for those who wish to upgrade from a more basic Mahogany ukulele! Perfect for strumming and finger picking this is a great addition to the Kala range.

These Ebony ukes feature light figured, reddish-brown stripes against a deep brown body, all brought together with Maple binding. The light coloured Maple rosette and binding creates a striking contrast to the Ebony body.

Ebony wood is handsome in appearance, with dark chocolate stripes in the woodgrain that is unique to every instrument. The tone is splendidly full bodied. The Ebony sound is rich and mellow, with deep overtones making the KA-EBY-S one of the most warm sounding Soprano ukuleles available.

Kala's Ebony Ukulele range comes highly recommended, a Duke of Uke best seller!

I wanted to buy a soprano uke and, for various reasons, needed to buy online, so I spent some time choosing, looking closely at reviews, with help from my son, a professional musician. This baby came out well on reviews; the price was good and in the right bracket for me, so I'm now the proud - and pleased - owner of this gorgeous instrument. The quality is excellent, and it looks superb. The action is great, and the size of the fret is big enough for me (male with fairly big hands). She sounds great too!
