Kala KA-SMHTE-C Solid Mahogany Cutaway Electro Tenor Ukulele

Kala KA-SMHTE-C Solid Mahogany Cutaway Electro Tenor Ukulele. A handsome looking all solid plugin Mahogany tenor with an incredibly rich and warm tone! One of our favourite Kala ranges here at the Duke of Uke.

There is a traditional, vintage look and sound to these all solid wood Mahogany ukuleles. They are trimmed with faux tortoise shell binding and have a Mahogany neck with Walnut fingerboard. These ukes have a very simple satin finish that keep the look and sound, nice and clean with excellent projection.

For an all solid Mahogany plugin ukulele, these are very good value for money and give a rich and warm tone, with considerable volume. A great uke for picking out some old-time blues tunes!

With the addition of a cut-away to reach those nether regions and the very responsive built in Shadow Nanoflex EQ pickup system, you get a great a balance of quality acoustic and amplified sound, and lot of ukulele for your money. This ukulele has to be one of the nicest and best value plugin ukes around!

One of our favourite Kala series here at the Duke of Uke.

Sounds great and is very resonant (acoustically and plugged in)

This is a very competitively priced ukelele which sounds great and is very resonant (acoustically and plugged in), has reasonable action and very good intonation and is very well constructed. It's more than good enough to use for gigs and the pickup makes it that much easier to use live. It exudes quality and it's actually a very beautiful instrument. I ordered it with a low G (which was fitted before shipping) and I ordered some Aquila New Nylgut strings which I like more than those which came with the uke. I bought a Duke of Uke hard case to go with it and it's exceptionally well made and well worth the extra investment to protect the instrument.
