Snail S20T Solid Flamed Acacia Tenor Ukulele

Snail S20C Solid Flamed Acacia Tenor Ukulele. A relatively recent brand, Snail Ukuleles have proved a more than welcome addition to the great Ukulele roster and have found high favour among the staff here at the Duke of Uke.

Beautifully constructed, with just a slightly wider than usual neck width (affording extra fretting hand comfort), Snail Ukuleles feature a selection of handsome wood grains, giving each instrument an individual look, and a uniquely warm, expressive tonality throughout their entire range.

This professional level, and luxurious Snail S20T Solid Flamed Acacia Tenor Ukulele raises the bar and sets the standard for a new legendary range of instruments, that make premium build and sound quality of the higher end more affordable.

The highly attractive flamed acacia wood on this model is attractively figured, and the striking mahogany and maple soundhole rosette design is beautifully inlaid. Acacia wood, similar in appearance and sound to the more traditional Hawaiian Koa, gives a warmth similar to Mahogany, but with a brighter attack and overall a more detailed sound.

The S20T has a high gloss finish, further accentuating those crystal clear high notes, and the tastefully understated bevelled edge ensures that you'll be experiencing it's shimmering and captivating sounds in complete comfort. The slotted headstock provides a nice touch, with a classic look paired with sturdy black die-cast tuning buttons.

A delicious looking instrument that would be an inspiring upgrade for an intermediate level player and one that would not be out of place in a collection of professional, premium ukuleles. Highly recommended.
